The prisoner Weverson Rodrigues da Silva, accused of assault in Campo Maior and fled on Friday the Penitentiary Esperantina along with six other inmates, was found dead in the early hours of Saturday (30) on the road Açude Cauldron, in the city of Piripiri.
The man's body charged with drug trafficking, murder, robbery and illegal possession of a gun was found with bullets and with signs of torture in a thicket the roadside. Police believe the Weverson death is related to crimes committed by him in the city.
Campo Maior, Weverson Silva was arrested in December last year in the neighborhood Cariri. According to research of the time, he was the author of the theft of a motorcycle in Flores neighborhood. The suspect approached the victim with a knife and took the assault vehicle. Hours after the arrest Weverson fled the police station through the roof.
Days later he killed with shots to the head and a man's neck and left another ferio in Piripiri.
